ABOUT OUR FAMILY
George and I met in 1992 while I was
a waitress at Gilligan's Steamer and Raw Bar. We instantly
became friends. We lost touch after I graduated from nursing
school and stopped working at Gilligan's. We began dating in
November 2001. We became engaged in December 2004 and were
married on April 9, 2005. We have a wonderful relationship and
really enjoy each others company. We enjoy walking, biking, and
snow skiing. We travel a good bit. Our favorite places to
vacation include Key West, Banner Elk, NC, and Killington,
Vermont.
George has three children. He has
two grown sons, Christopher and Kevin. Christopher is an
electrical engineer and Kevin is an accountant. We have a
super daughter-in law, Michelle, who is a dental hygienist.
George has a 15 year old daughter, Anna Catherine, who
attends Ashley Hall in downtown Charleston. She is in
the 10th grade. She enjoys volleyball and basketball and is involved
with the church youth group. We have a two month old granddaughter whose
name is Ava.
We are extremely excited about
having a little girl. I would like to take this time to thank
all of our family and friends for their support during the past
year and a half while pursuing this adoption. Please continue to
pray for a safe journey to and from Vietnam.
